Cooking, Gardening & Wellness Workshops

We host engaging hands on community classes focused on various food and wellness topics led by local leaders. All of our classes involve taste testing, a hands on component, and a chance to both learn from and teach fellow community members. Join our community!

Maintenance & Coaching

At Maine Foodscapes, we call our edible design "foodscaping." Through our Foodscapes Service offerings, we transition spaces like lawns and patios into edible oases that benefit the health of you, your family and the Earth! We can help you do it. ontainer Gardens for Local Businesses

Have a highly visible space that you think would be a perfect place for a garden patch? Let us know! We will build raised bed or container gardens in front of local businesses for the purpose of engaging and educating curious local eaters.

The Foodscapes Garden Project (FGP)

We believe in access to local, nutritious and delicious food for all of our residents and are dedicated to bridging this gap with your help. The scarcity of grocers selling nutritious chemical free produce along with the high cost of that organic produce are just some challenges that are felt most deeply by our low-income neighbors. Our goal is to provide gardening resources for individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurity. We accomplish this by providing raised bed gardens and container gardens at their homes.

Youth Programs

During the summer months when school is out, we host our Roots to Shoots Summer Garden Camp for curious young learners and eaters. We follow outdoor education best practices while offering an edible, scientific, artistic, and holistic curriculum in local school gardens.
